My favourite fifteen images from the reception at Marcello & Antonella’s Moor Hall Hotel wedding are featured here in part II.

If you missed the first part (the preparations & ceremony), click here.

This is the second time I’ve shot a Moor Hall Hotel wedding reception. It’s a venue with a magnificent main room, very friendly and attentive staff and a fabulous hidden garden which made a great backdrop for the part of the day when I chose to whisk the bride and groom away for just 10 minutes of very, very lightly directed portraits.

Highlights of the reception were the spontaneous dancing to the Italian accordion music, Marcello’s grandfather (in his mid-nineties and as fit as a fiddle), a great set of speeches and the part just after the first dance when the guests tied up Marcello & Antonella in streamers. If Carlsberg did Italian weddings!

  • The colors might be missing in these black and white pictures but the emotions are as real as it gets! Very beautiful shots!
