My first Ladywood Estate Wedding back in May was a real honour to document. Not just because it was a fab day and for such a great couple as Rob & Nadine, but also for the fact that their wedding was the first to hold a reception in the brand new purpose built Wedding Pavilion at this Oakham Wedding Venue.
Originally a barn conversion, the Ladywood Estate Wedding Pavilion has been designed and built for weddings and offers an attractive alternative to the more traditional marquee option. Come rain or shine, the pavilion is the perfect venue, blending into the estate’s formal gardens and park land. The stone terraces provide an ideal area for champagne & canapés while overlooking the lakes.
The pavilion’s designers have created a modern and contemporary feel. Facing to the south and west, the walls are entirely constructed in glass giving uninterrupted views over beautiful open countryside. It comfortably seats 400 guests with additional areas for a dance floor, stage for the band, bars and a quiet mood seating area. Highly recommended!
Rob & Nadine’s day started with the preparations at Ladywood House which makes a great base for any wedding held at the estate and comes complete with its own amazing games room. The ceremony was held the other side of Corby about 45 minutes away from Ladywood in a village called Brigstock where Nadine’s parents live. We then headed back to Ladywood for a superb afternoon and evening reception which included a champagne drinks reception on the patio, an ice cream van for everyone to enjoy in the sun and an evening’s dancing to the amazing talents of welsh wedding band “pop art”.
I’m struggling to get down to thirty images so yet again I am increasing the number I’m showing on each post. My favourite forty images are below along with a list of other wedding suppliers on the day.
