Sorry for the delay with this year’s “Image of the Year” post. Things were manic over Christmas with weddings before and just after. Then it was accounts time (this year they’re going to be done much earlier!), then it was onto processing those two Christmas weddings alongside shooting a bit of commercial work for a local agency.

Things are a little quieter now, so without any further ado, here are my favourite images from each of the weddings I shot in 2013.

Scroll through the images, select your favourite and then cast your vote at the bottom of this post. If you want to be entered into the draw for the chance to win £25 in the form of M&S Gift Vouchers, leave a comment when you vote and be sure to add your email address in the “email” box when you leave your comment.

Update: The closing date for the competition is now at 4pm on Friday 14th February and the winner of the M&S vouchers will be drawn at random from all entries received.

The couple whose wedding the winning image is from will receive a £50 gift voucher redeemable against any of the wall products I offer – gloss alumni prints, bevel edge prints, block wraps, acrylic glacier prints and blanc noir framed prints and can select any image from their wedding for reproduction.

Have fun choosing your favourite!

All amazing Ian. You catch a moment like magic but no.3 just tells such a story :)

Picture 10 – beautiful!

All the pics are brilliant especially the ones taken without the knowledge of the subjects

So many gorgeous photos Ian – it’s really not easy to choose but I do love looking through them all!

Thank you Lorna, much appreciated. I know one or two shots may look posed, but not one of them displayed here are. The only direction I give on the day is during the group shots or very light direction during the bridal portraits. All other shots are fly-on-the-wall.

Thanks Gemma, hope you’re well! x

Cheers Fiona, much appreciated! x
