How it works

From digital files to a finished album in six simple steps.

The process is the same whether your album is for a wedding, a heritage collection, a celebration, a corporate event or a club. You bring the photographs; I take care of the rest.

01

Get in touch

Tell me about your project: what the photographs are, roughly how many, and what you're hoping for. I'll come back within 48 hours to arrange a consultation. There's no commitment at this stage.

02

Consultation

We start with a short call, around fifteen minutes, to talk roughly through the photographs and the story behind them: the people, the moments, what matters most. That's enough for me to recommend a format and size and prepare a clear, no-obligation quote. Once you've decided to go ahead, we have a longer conversation, thirty to forty-five minutes, to settle the finer details: papers, laminations, cover materials and colours, ennoblements and boxes.

03

Send your photographs

Upload your gallery or share a link; I accept any photographer's digital delivery. If your photographs are physical prints, slides or negatives, you can post them to me for professional scanning, and I'll return the originals safely.

04

I design & proof

I select, sequence and lay out your photographs into a first design, applying thirty years of design, print and storytelling experience. Any restoration or retouching happens here too. You then see the full album as a digital proof online.

05

Refine until it sings

Review the digital proof and request any changes: different images, a new sequence, layout tweaks. Two rounds of amends are included in the price, which is enough for almost every album; further rounds after that are chargeable. Only when you have approved it does the album go to print.

06

Printed to last, delivered to you

Your album is pressed and bound by your chosen maker, checked in-studio, and delivered to your door, ready to hold, turn the pages of, and keep for generations.

It starts with a conversation.
