Images from Marcello & Antonella’s Italian wedding at Holy Trinity Sutton Coldfield.
I’m going to blog this wedding in two parts. This post (Part I) is of the bridal preparations and the ceremony. Part II (reception) will follow later this week.
Marcello & Antonella approached me about covering their wedding at Holy Trinity Sutton Coldfield as she had seen my work several times before. She’s a teacher and I’ve covered the weddings of several of her colleagues – in fact, totalling it up, she’s the 5th teacher from the very same school whose wedding I’ve shot.
The day itself was simply amazing. A warm welcome from Antonella’s family during bridal prep, a mad dash to the church with the flowers for the groom and his family as Antonella’s brother had forgotten to take them and a fabulous service by the very entertaining Father Michael. All this before an emotion filled reception which will come in part II. A few words from Marcello & Antonella are below…
“Antonella & I as well as our families would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your help on the day (bringing the flowers included) through to producing of our albums and constant advice provided throughout! We must have been serious pains at times! You contributed greatly to our day and we are very happy with the decision made to employ you as our photographer. You lived up to your billing as no-one even realised you were about and the secret photo opportunities that you captured were truly amazing! It was great getting to know you as a person and look forward to receiving your Facebook status updates and photograph posts of other weddings you have worked on. Our worry, if there were any, were the formal photos based on family concerns and tradition. We can safely say, however, that we could not have hoped for better and we now have converted to the Bursill way of photography! Thank you again and we would like to wish you all the success in the future.” – Marcello & Antonella
