Sorry for the delay in posting this St. Mary’s Church, Cromford & Alison House, Matlock wedding.

As is quite common for wedding photographers, the autumn months are manically busy and are spent putting the finishing touches to a hectic summer season’s work by designing & assembling albums, creating slideshows, sorting print orders & getting caught up on admin etc. Each wedding involves around 40 hours worth of work, including the time spent documenting the day, so inevitably things get stuck in a bottleneck come September, October & November…

So… it is with great pleasure that I blog the wonderful Autumn wedding of Abigail & Tim. Abi & Tim were at the wedding of Paul & Nicole in Didsbury, Manchester earlier in the year and I documented that wedding. Abi contacted me a few months after that wedding to say how she was blown away by the images of Nicole & Paul’s day and wanted me to shoot their wedding day too. Abi is a real character, full of life and energy and a lovely lady to boot so I couldn’t wait for their special day to arrive… and what a day!

October 1st was just unbelievably hot… about 28 degrees and the weather totally fell in line with the Asian/Thai theme for the wedding (Tim proposed to Abi on a holiday in Asia), hence the theme for the day. Massive kudos goes out to Abi for the way she planned the little details for her day, but no surprise as she has an event planning background. She’d be a great wedding planner!

As usual, a selection of my faves to tell a mini-story of the day are below…
