A true photographic print, exposed onto light-sensitive paper and chemically developed. The fine pearl surface holds continuous tone with no dot structure at all: the most photographic of everything I print.
Available unlaminated or matte laminate.
Photographic paper on a metallised base. Highlights take on a bright, almost chromed depth and colour runs hot; best used deliberately, on images that can carry it.
Matte laminate
Photographed prints, shown for comparison only; surface and sheen are impossible to judge on screen. I keep samples of every paper and will show you the real thing before I commit.
The Edge
A photographic book made to be displayed, not stored away.
Most albums are opened once and then put away in a drawer. The Edge is built on the opposite idea: a photographic book designed as an object you live with, printed on every visible surface so it belongs on a coffee table or a shelf rather than out of sight. A registered design, and unlike anything else in the range.
It comes in 9.5×13” (25×35 cm) and 13×9.5” (35×25 cm), 12×16” (30×40 cm), 12×12” (30×30 cm) and 16×12” (40×30 cm), with 20 to 100 thick, panoramic flush-mount pages printed photographically on lustre or metallic paper.
Covers are acrylic — deep, brilliant, made to look like a collectible object on a table — or ChromaLuxe metal, crisp and commanding under light; both in gloss or matte, with a black or white back cover. The signature option is edge printing: imagery or graphics carried across the printed page edges, so the book reads as a whole object from every angle and no two copies are alike.
