The brightest and most saturated of the Canon papers. A high-gloss surface holds the deepest blacks and the widest colour, with a mirror-like sheen that shows fingerprints and reflections.
The sensible default. A fine pearl texture diffuses reflections while keeping most of the depth and contrast of gloss: easy to look at in any light, and forgiving of handling.
The closest the offset press comes to a photographic print: a bright, faintly pearlescent coating with clean whites and strong colour. The safe choice for most albums.
A warm, uncoated art stock with a soft felt grain. Ink sits into the fibre rather than on top of it, so images read gentler and slightly muted: lovely for newborn and film-toned work.
Photographed prints, shown for comparison only; surface and sheen are impossible to judge on screen. I keep samples of every paper and will show you the real thing before I commit.
A waxed linen weave with a flat matte finish and no sheen at all: highly resistant, extremely smooth, and the quietest fabric in the range.

A polymeric fabric with a shaded finish, so the colour moves across the cover rather than sitting flat. Extremely smooth, very soft to the touch, and highly resistant to wear.

Primo Book
My most popular book, and the most customisable.
The Primo Book is my most popular book, and the most customisable. It exists to answer a question most albums dodge: what if you did not have to choose? Photographers shoot in the hundreds now, and a book that holds up to 350 pages means the day arrives whole: not reduced to a highlight reel, but running past you in sequence, one moment leading into the next.
Its perfect binding was a first for a primary wedding book when Graphistudio introduced it, and it needs no inserts between pages. The result is a page that moves softly and fluidly, and a book that reads like a book rather than a display case. It runs from 40 up to 350 pages in multiples of two: offset Indigo-printed on Photo Lux or Tintoretto, or Canon DreamLabo HD-printed on glossy or lustre paper, with gloss, matte or soft-touch lamination. Six sizes are available: vertical 25×35 and 30×40 cm, square 25×25 and 30×30 cm, and horizontal 35×25 and 40×30 cm, and every one of them can be paired with a smaller Parent Book, an identically printed copy in 20×30, 20×20 or 30×20 cm for parents or a second household.
Covers come in Maple, Touch in black or white, Leatherette, Class Leatherette, Cloud Leatherette, Linen, or printed photographic paper with a matt or gloss laminate. Finish it with laser engraving, hot-foil debossing, colour overprinting, colour overprinting with raised varnishing, or raised foil; add Lux linings from eighteen linen shades, and overprint the block edges in any colour to pick up the cover or the box.
The Design Box was made for it. Its lid opens in a way you will not have seen before, and it is deliberately light, engineered to carry the larger books without adding weight to them. Inside and outside can be covered in different materials and colours, so book and box can either match quietly or play off one another.
