A warm, uncoated art stock with a soft felt grain. Ink sits into the fibre rather than on top of it, so images read gentler and slightly muted: lovely for newborn and film-toned work.
A true photographic print, exposed onto light-sensitive paper and chemically developed. The fine pearl surface holds continuous tone with no dot structure at all: the most photographic of everything I print.
Photographic paper on a metallised base. Highlights take on a bright, almost chromed depth and colour runs hot; best used deliberately, on images that can carry it.

Baby Book
Colourful, tactile and coordinated: my most affordable lay-flat album.
Made for the tender, quiet photographs of a first year. The Baby Book uses the same patented lay-flat binding as its larger siblings, so pages open completely flat and a panoramic spread crosses the seam without a break, all at the most accessible price in the Graphistudio range.
Book and box are designed as a pair. Both the cover and the box are finished in Touch Art Matte, a soft, velvety matte material in twenty-nine colours, or printed with your own images and patterns, with a satin ribbon and a magnetic-lock lid to complete it. Names, text or a pattern can be added by colour overprinting, raised varnishing or raised foil, so nothing about it feels off-the-shelf.
It comes in 20×30 cm vertical, 30×20 cm horizontal, and 20×20 or 25×25 cm square, with 20 to 40 pages and white or black linings. Papers are photographic on lustre or metallic, or Indigo offset on Tintoretto, with gloss or matte lamination available.
Its page count and size make it a natural first-year album, but it is also the sensible choice for a wedding on a tighter budget, or a parent copy: proper Italian lay-flat construction, at a fraction of the cost of the larger books.
