Wendy & Richard’s Stubton Hall, Newark Wedding

Nottinghamshire wedding venue Stubton Hall was the location for the wedding of Wendy & Richard. Stubton Hall has quickly become one of the premier venues for weddings in Nottinghamshire… and the best thing is that when you have a wedding at Stubton Hall, you will have the entire house and gardens to yourselves. The day’s coverage started with bridal preparations. The girls’ hair was styled by Jodie who works at Nottingham Hair Salon The Tier and make up was provided by talented Nottinghamshire Makeup Artist Claire Shipman.

One of the advantages of having a wedding in a venue such as Stubton is that it makes it possible to get coverage of the boys’ getting ready too. The guys were very witty and great fun to work with! Flowers for the day’s celebrations were provided by Nottingham Florist Vaas, and they were absolutely sensational. Pre and post ceremony music was provided by the very talented Norfolk Harpist Xenia Horne.

Coverage ended after the cake cutting and first dance. The cake – a tower of cupcakes was by Nottinghamshire Cupcake Company Heavenly Cupcakes and the evenings music was provided by London Band The Boogie Nights Band and the hall’s resident DJ.

A selection of images from the day are below as per usual…

Alex & Sarah – All Saints and Loughborough Town Hall

Alex and Sarah tied the knot on Saturday 8th August and like the wedding I covered the day previously, the weather stayed absolutely glorious. The funniest part of the day was when Sarah turned up at the church, the driver got out of the car and left the handbrake off. The car proceeded to move down the road about 8 feet with the bridesmaids screaming at the driver who was completely oblivious. Luckily he managed to stop the motor in time! A selection of favourites follow…
