Billy & Ruth, Church of St. James, Little Dalby
A beautiful day in between a few light showers at Little Dalby near Melton Mowbray on May 16th for the wedding of Billy & Ruth. I’m not ashamed to day I got a little emotional by the fantastic rendition of “What A Wonderful World” by a girls’ choir during the signing of the register! The reception in a marquee at a local farm saw the wedding guests entertained by the best band I’ve ever seen at a wedding – Madhen, check out their website, they are awesome! Helter Skelter
With my summer being so busy with all of the weddings and the work afterwards, I tend to get really slack about processsing my personal stuff. I’m making an effort this week to process some shots of the kids. This particular shot was taken back in May of this year and is of my eldest daughter Neve at Quorn Park in Leicestershire one Sunday morning. I love the vibrant colours, the shapes and the way that the spiral staircase leads you in to the subject walking up and seeing Dad at the top with that bloomin’ Nikon camera again!
