Andy & Jade’s wedding was the last of my three December weddings and my last wedding of 2010 and a great one to end with. Massive kudos goes out to Andy and Jade who organised this wedding at the very last minute. From setting the date to the actual wedding day all took place in just 3 weeks! And just like those last minute parties you get invited to which turn out to be great, the same was very true of this special day. Just such a lovely atmosphere from start to finish, this day was simply all about the people.
The ceremony at St. Mary’s in Sileby, Leics was at 3:30pm on one of the shortest days of the year so it was virtually dark outside when Jade arrived. It certainly was dark outside at the end of the ceremony, but the only time the flash came out on the day was for the shot of them leaving the church under a shower of confetti. Thank heavens for Nikon’s amazing D3 cameras and their low-light capability coupled with fast, prime lenses.
The reception was held at Contemporary Loughborough Restaurant, Browns Lane and flowers for the day were once again expertly provided by the wonderful Leicestershire Florist Flowers by Sarah. A bunch of my faves to tell the story of Andy & Jade’s day are below.

Jemma - I just love number 28…photorealism at its best – this is what really goes on behind closed doors!
Removing nasal hair from the father of bride is just one of those hysterical but magic moments that ensure every little detail is just right for the perfect wedding day!
A fabulous insight Ian!February 13, 2011 – 3:56 pm
