Andrew & Anita – Sutton Bonington Hall, Leicestershire

This is the wedding of Andrew & Anita at Sutton Bonington Hall, Leicestershire on July 10th. I’ve now known Anita for 18 years and I really don’t know whether it is easier or harder to cover the wedding of someone you know so well… on one hand Anita obviously felt very comfortable in my presence, but on the other hand there were inevitably lots of people at the wedding that I knew – including my wife, and also my two daughters, Neve (5) and Maya (2) who were bridesmaids! Try covering a wedding in an unobtrusive, documentary style around lots of familiar folks… actually, it was easier than I expected! A brilliant day weather wise, a great day guest/photographer wise too. A few faves as per usual are below…

Jacob & Elizabeth – St. Mary’s Loughborough and Quorn Grange Hotel

July 4th, a beautifully sunny day for the wedding of Jacob & Elizabeth at St.Mary’s Catholic Church in Loughborough. A day only spoilt for me by the fact that I dropped the new Nikon D700 with my 50mm 1.4 lens attached to it – the camera survived but the lens will now not focus. Another new one on the way! A bunch of favourites from the day are below…Perkins_009Perkins_016Perkins_022Perkins_026Perkins_050Perkins_052Perkins_057Perkins_067Perkins_070Perkins_075Perkins_091Perkins_106Perkins_145Perkins_164Perkins_177Perkins_180

Fjona - Great last shot, perfect timing. Shame about the lens…ouch. But the images are beautiful and the loss of the lens doesn’t seem to have affected your days work. Still waiting for your business cards!July 25, 2009 – 1:02 pm

Cathy - You must have felt sick when you dropped your camera!!! But … it obviously did not affect your work. A lovely set yet once again. Love the one with the children looking in on the people dancing. Fab!July 26, 2009 – 11:49 pm
