It was very nice to wake up this Christmas Eve morning and find that I have had 4 placings in Quarter 3 of the WPJA 2009 competition! I got 4th and 5th in the “Other Vendors” section, 14th in “Humour” and 17th in the “Emotion” category. A lovely early Christmas present! Winning pictures are below…

I’d just like to take this opportunity to wish readers of the blog a very happy Christmas and I hope you all have a very happy New Year. I’ll finish off this year’s posts with a few favourites of my girls from 2009, I have loads of personal work to process and will be doing that in the quieter months after Christmas and will post back with some more work in the New Year. 19th September saw me over in Lincolnshire for the wedding of Simone & Anna at St Johns in Washingborough and afterwards at The Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa, famous as the wartime base for the Dambusters Squadron. The day saw lots of cats, a Catholic & C of E priest jointly taking the ceremony and loads of beautiful low September sunlight. A selection of faves follows…
